 Infosys reported a net profit of Rs.5,945 Crore in Q1FY24 - Quarterly Results

 

Infosys Limited - India's second largest IT Company after TCS, recently reported it's first quarterly results for the Financial year 2023-24. In the said April - June quarter, the company's revenue was Rs.37,933 Crore and the expenditure is said to be Rs.28,869 Crore as well.

The Operating Profit were stood at Rs.9,064 Crore and the Operating Profit Margin(OPM) of 24 Percent in the First quarter of FY2024. It is noteworthy that the average of Quarterly OPM's are above 24 Percent for Infosys Limited. As other income, the company earned Rs.561 Crore in the June Q1 results. 

 Profit Before Tax(PBT) were stood at Rs.8,362 Crore and the bottom line which was the Net Profit is said to be Rs.5,945 Crore. As compared to the previous year's June quarter 2022-23, the current revenue has grown by 10 Percent and the Net Profit has also grown by 11 Percent.

In the Past, the EPS was stood at Rs.12.74 in the April - June 2022-23 quarter, then now it is around Rs.14.32 for the Earning Per Share. Infosys Limited has a Market Capitalization of Rs.6.01 Lakh Crore (July 2023) in the Indian Equity market. 

At the end of March 2023 Financial year, the company's reserves were Rs.73,338 Crore as per Balance Sheet - Consolidated statement. The revenue of Infosys Limited is mostly derived from the Financial Services segment, which was around 28 Percent of it's Total revenue.  


 

 

The company has 1,883 active Clients as per June 30, 2023 Financial report. There are 38 Clients those are distributing revenues of more than One Hundred million USD per head to Infosys. 940 Corporate Clients generate revenues of over USD 1 Million to this company. 

Top 25 Clients alone contributed 35 Percent of the Total revenue of Infosys Ltd. The total number of employees for this company at the end of June 2023-24 quarter was 3.36 Lakh employees. Of these, 3.17 Lakh employees were Software Professionals and the rest provide for Sales and Support.

It is noteworthy that 39.5 Percent of Women Employees working of the Total above said. The Voluntary Attrition rate were stood at 17.3 Percent as per June 30, 2023 Report.
